Terms and Conditions

A booking with Actionworld AG is made on the basis of the following terms and conditions.

Visitors use the laser tag arena at their own risk. Climbing on or moving obstacles is prohibited. Running, lying down, or kneeling is not permitted within our facility. Please exercise the utmost caution until your eyes have adjusted to the darkness.

Instructions given by the staff must be followed. For safety reasons, the operation of the entire facility may be suspended at any time; this also applies if participants fail to comply with the stated prohibitions.

Players must wear casual clothing and flat, athletic-style shoes. Wearing any type of military-style clothing during the game is prohibited. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the game for the briefing. Late arrivals do not entitle you to a refund or an extension of the playing time.

The play equipment and facilities provided within Actionworld are used by players at their own risk. Users are strictly required to handle the equipment with care. Please be advised that any damage to, or excessive wear and tear of, the equipment may result in claims for compensation and charges for loss of use.

The minimum age for participating in laser tag is 8 years. We reserve the right—though we are under no obligation—to deny entry or access to the arena to minors who are not accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult supervisor. Granting access does not establish any contractual or statutory duty of supervision, specifically not under Section 832 of the German Civil Code (BGB). This also applies to minors who are accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult supervisor. We explicitly draw attention to the statutory liability of legal guardians or adult supervisors, as defined by law, and the obligations that arise therefrom.

We advise individuals with health issues—such as a tendency toward panic attacks, asthma, or heart conditions—against participating. (see disclaimer)

Free, lockable, code-secured compartments are available for storing personal items. We assume no liability for the use of these compartments or the cloakroom area.

The minimum age for participating in escape rooms is 12 years. Individuals under the age of 16 may only participate if accompanied by an adult supervisor or legal guardian.

We reserve the right, though are under no obligation, to deny entry or access to the gaming area to minors who are not accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult supervisor. We consider all puzzles and their solutions within our escape rooms to be trade secrets. Disclosing these puzzles or solutions—even in part—is not permitted.

During and after your participation in the "Escape Rooms" game, photographs and video footage of you will be taken. By participating in the Escape Rooms, you consent to the use of such photographs and video footage. It is agreed that all usage rights to these images—without limitation as to content, time, or location—are transferred to Actionworld AG, subject to your right of revocation. This transfer includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• the rights to reproduce, distribute, publish, and make available to the public for promotional purposes (including, but not limited to, on the internet—e.g., on a website or on social networks such as Facebook/Instagram, etc.)
• the electronic editing and alteration of the photographic images—with due regard for personal rights—by Actionworld AG, or by advertising agencies or the photographer commissioned for this purpose

The play equipment and furnishings provided within Actionworld are used by players at their own risk. It is mandatory that all equipment be handled with care. Please be advised that any damage to or excessive wear and tear of the equipment may result in claims for damages and compensation for loss of use. Should any play equipment or furnishings be damaged due to intentional or grossly negligent use by a player, a contractual penalty of CHF 2,000.00 shall be incurred, regardless of whether any additional claims for damages may also apply.

The instructions of the staff must be followed. Persons who violate our house rules and staff instructions will be expelled from the premises immediately. This also entails the termination of the contract of use, which does not require a verbal warning if the violation is so serious that an immediate expulsion can be objectively justified.

The admission price is due immediately and must be paid at our box office before the start of the performance. If registered groups do not show up despite having made a booking, the admission price will be charged to the person who made the booking.

Cancellations must be made 1 week prior to the scheduled date. Rescheduling or adjustments to the number of participants must be made 72 hours in advance. Both must be requested in writing. Once a booking has been rescheduled, it is no longer eligible for free cancellation. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling request made outside of these timeframes, or in the event of a no-show, the full cost for the number of participants originally booked—or the total cost of the event—will be charged.

Good mood and possibly darker, sporty clothing (black light). It is advisable to bring an extra T-shirt in case you work up a sweat while playing. Changing rooms are available. Flat, closed shoes are mandatory!

Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.

If a user is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, this will result in termination of the user contract and expulsion from the facility without a verbal warning.

If use is terminated by the participant before the end of the playing time granted for this purpose, there is no entitlement to a pro rata or full refund of the admission price.

The production of photos or other image material for commercial purposes within the facility is prohibited.

• The operators of Actionworld AG and their authorized representatives exercise domiciliary rights. Liability on the part of Actionworld AG and its employees and temporary staff, external organizers, the owner of the site and the company, visitors, fellow players and helpers, authorities, legal or natural persons connected with the organization on the site towards tenants, fellow players and visitors to one of the three attractions in the event of accidents, loss, theft, personal injury, damage to property and financial loss inside and outside the facility, including on the access roads and parking areas, for whatever reason, is excluded in all cases. In particular, there is no liability for injuries, theft, loss of clothing, valuables and equipment of any kind, or for damage to or theft of vehicles.
• We accept no liability for negligent behavior in the event of accidents or injuries and resulting damage to visitors and users caused by the use of the equipment or our games. Participation in the games is exclusively at your own risk. Our own liability for damages that are not bodily injury or personal injury, as well as our liability for damages caused by us or our staff, is limited to intent or gross negligence.
• All claims for damages expire one year after they arise. This does not apply to claims in tort.

• A registration with Actionworld AG, which can be made in writing, verbally, by telephone or via the Internet, corresponds to the conclusion of a contract on the basis of the respective description. The terms and conditions and all supplementary information communicated during the purchase or booking process are binding.
• The participant is obliged to check the booking confirmation sent to him/her immediately for conformity with the information provided by him/her during the ordering process. The participant must notify Actionworld AG immediately and in writing of any discrepancies. If the participant has not received a confirmation 3 days after the reservation, he/she is obliged to contact Actionworld AG immediately.
  Registrations and reservations can only be made in writing via the online reservation tool. These will be confirmed by email.

• Actionworld AG's obligation to perform consists solely of the content of the confirmation.
• Additional services that extend the service content are only binding with written confirmation from the organizer.
• All prices are final prices in Swiss francs (CHF).

Actionworld AG has the right to terminate the contract after its commencement if the participant disrupts the execution of the contract despite a warning or if he/she behaves in breach of contract, so that the immediate termination of the contract is also justified for the protection of others, or if the participant does not fulfill a participation requirement. If Actionworld AG terminates the user contract, the participant / customer shall not be entitled to a refund of the admission price.

The contractual relationship between the participant and Actionworld AG shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. This also applies to the entire legal relationship.

• Actionworld AG does not conclude contracts with minors. If the participant is under 18 years of age, he/she may only make bookings with the assistance of a parent, legal guardian or legal representative.
• Should provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Instead, each invalid provision shall be replaced by a substitute provision that corresponds or at least comes close to the purpose of the agreement, as the parties would have agreed to achieve the same economic result if they had been aware of the invalidity of the provision. The same applies to loopholes.
• The data provided to us will be processed, stored and forwarded within the scope of the purpose of the contract. Personal data is protected in accordance with the BDSG.
